DIY Confetti Poppers or Christmas Crackers

I met a new friend at Hobby Lobby who overheard my conversation about making poppers. She had been looking EVERYWHERE for confetti poppers for a gender reveal party. So I thought I would repost this tutorial for anyone wanting to make New Years Eve poppers or gender reveal confetti poppers, or whatever else you might make poppers for! Enjoy!

The version shown in the picture can be found here.
And a newer version using the envelope punch board can be found here.

This was my favorite project! That copper glimmer paper is AMAZING with the Bermuda Bay ink brayered onto the feather layer. I used it as a stencil for another card, and by some miracle thought of putting that gorgeous Copper Glimmer paper behind it! I love it!

Photos just can't do it justice. You'll have to try your own! It's stunning!

Here was my original idea using the Whisper White Note Cards with the feather laser cut piece as a stencil:

Here is a card made from the leftover piece of the Paper Pumpkin card with the Delightfully Detailed Lazer Cut Specialty Paper layered over top. You can also buy Delightfully Detailed Note Cards and Envelopes that have this same gorgeous watercolor base in Blackberry Bliss AND Mint Macaron!

Alpine Adventures Card #1 of 4

I'm the spotlight stamper for our Sweet Stampede team facebook this month, and I chose the Alpine Adventures stamp set to play with! For the next 4 weeks I will come up with a new project using this stamp set. I overlooked it at first, but on closer look there were so many fun little stamps to play with! I immediately thought of using the little decorative pieces with the Cable Knit Embossing Folder to make a Christmas sweater!

I stayed with Real Red ink so it wasn't TOO busy and the focus could be brought to that adorable sled! The framelits are definitely a must have and look amazing with the Wood Textures paper!  I'm including another version in my monthly newsletter, you can sign up on the right if you would like those exclusive monthly projects!

Here are the products I used for today's card:

The cozy vintage style of the Alpine Adventures stamp set and Alpine Sports framelits almost get me ready for winter! (Almost!) I'm going to go dig out my cozy sweaters now, and then wait 3 more months to wear any of them! Haha! Cue the Christmas music, at least my Christmas cards will be ready!
