Multi-sized Self Closing Treat Bags

Thanks again for joining me on Facebook Live today! I go live every Wednesday at 2:00 Central Time on my Facebook page, and you can always watch the replay! Today's projects were so much fun to make! There's a size for almost ANY Halloween treat!

I love that they stand up on their own and are SERIOUSLY simple to make! The Tags, Tags, Tags Bundle is the perfect way to add a finishing touch! You can embellish as simply or as elaborately as you want (or have time for).

Here are the hand written measurements (I hope you can read them! Let me know if you have any questions!)

I'll be posting some other varieties of this pattern soon that you will be able to use for Christmas, Birthdays, and all year-round! It really makes the perfect quick & easy gift or treat box for any occasion! It's also a great way to use all the gorgeous Designer Series Paper available! There's just one question: what are YOU going to put inside?

Paper Pumpkin August 2019 - The Gift of Fall

In today's Facebook Live video tutorial, I show you the stunning "The Gift of Fall" Paper Pumpkin kit for August 2019. It is so gorgeous!!! I've always loved the vibrant colors of Fall! We won't get those Fall colors (or drop in temperatures!) in Houston for a while, but there has been a small shift that gives us hope!

These alternate projects were made using ONLY the supplies included in the Paper Pumpkin kit as well as the Gift of Fall add-on card pack. Well, I did add some cardstock and new DSP to that middle card. ;) The refill is now available for purchase to current subscribers for only $10! The refill does NOT include the stamp set or the ink spot, so I highly recommend purchasing the Country Home stamp set that coordinates BEAUTIFULLY!

Dinoroar Birthday Party

One of the very first pages I saw in the 2019-2020 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog was of the Dinoroar Suite. I nearly hyperventilated I was so excited! It was MADE for Sophie!!! Not only dinosaurs but PINK dinosaurs!!! It was PERFECT! I knew we would use it for her birthday party this year!

Here are some thank you gift bag tags I made using the Dino Days Stamp Set and Dino Dies, as well as the Dinoroar Designer Series Paper.

Here's the birthday girl with the dinosaur goody bags:

We decided to go with a "tropical" dinosaur theme. I found this amazing tropical garland and we put up pink streamers so our family room looked like a tropical circus tent!

We started the party with each guest making their own dinosaur sand art:

Then we played a DIY Tricera-toss game:

While the boys went to pick up dinner from Chick-fil-a, we continued the party by putting together dinosaur puzzles (made by Sophie!) and playing with the glow sticks from the Tricera-toss game while I prepped the food. I found these fun tropical and sparkly pink plates for dinner and cake and ice-cream!

I had big plans to create a cake to match the DSP, but when Sophie saw this Jurassic Park design at HEB, she knew it was the one!

With 20 minutes left we decided to open presents and pass out the goody bags! Inside the bags, we included all kinds of tropical favors:

It was the perfect party for my dinosaur loving girl and I was SO glad to have the pink dinosaur inspiration from Stampin' Up!

Birthday Bright Project Kit

Don't miss out on this FUN project kit! I ALMOST missed it! And then I noticed the template for addressing envelopes and thought WHOA I need that! And hello! the kit is CUTE! I'm always in need of fun birthday cards! These ones are perfect for guys too! (Always a struggle right?) And the tags! I've decided to throw out my reusable gift bag stash, (am I REALLY going to reuse gift bags from my wedding? No. The answer is no.) and stock up on plain white or kraft bags that I can either stamp on OR add one of these cute tags to! SO PERFECT. And easy, which makes it even more perfect!
