Retiring In Colors and Free Beautiful Peacock

I officially went full-time at work today, which is pretty much just a status change since I've been working full-time hours for several months now anyway. I honestly LOVE my job. I'll have to post more about it later...when I have time...LOL! So, on the first day of full-time, it seems only natural to cram something extra into my day, am I right?

I had a few friends coming over to stamp and swap, and as of this morning I had no card plans! PANIC! Well, I knew I wanted to use the retiring in-colors *SNIFF SNIFF* and one of the free Sale-a-Bration (SAB) stamp sets. So I pulled out this little beauty that I actually earned 2 of (surprise Quinette! Peacocks are kind-of our thing. Ok we're obsessed.) And here's what I came up with!

We made these two cards:

After the class (and after I finished all my work) 😉 I played around with the colors and came up with the rest of these:

(I would have liked to use Dapper Denim as the card base here, but I'm already out!!!
Waiting for my stock up order to come this week! Which reminds me, don't forget to order all the retiring colors ink pads, refills, cardstock and matching embellishments and ribbon SOON! They sell out FAST this time of year and it's your LAST CHANCE to get them! Just click on the products in the table above to add it to your cart, and don't forget to use hostess code KNB29Y2Q (or the current code in the top right corner of this blog) when you checkout to get a free thank you gift from me!)

I think this combo is my favorite:

And now I've got a stack of beautiful cards to use for ANY occasion! Love those! I love all these beautiful retiring in-colors and am so sad to see them go BUT I'm over the moon excited about seeing the changes coming for Stampin' Up!s 30th celebration annual catalog!!!
