FB Live: So Cool Paper Pumpkin

After a long year and a long-distance move, my Facebook Lives are BACK!

Tropical Oasis & Paper Players Challenge #492

I can't get enough of these Tropical Oasis Memories & More cards! They make cardmaking quick and easy! Not to mention, it's a little tropical vacation right in my craft room!

My favorite part of this one is the layer of DSP behind the diecut sentiment. I wanted the sentiment a little bit bolder, so I used the "negative" piece and added a little pop! It's the little details that finish it off!

Tropical Oasis for Freshly Made Sketch #436

I hope you're all enjoying your Memorial Day weekend! It seems strange to be spending it at home instead of at the neighborhood pool or a BBQ with friends! Although, I really don't mind staying home crafting all weekend! No complaints here! Especially when I'm using the Tropical Oasis suite! It feels like I'm on a tropical vacation!

I love using a card sketch for inspiration, and today's project is from the Freshly Made Sketch challenge this week. Here is the sketch. Just click on it to come play along!

I used a Terracotta Tile card base and layered on some Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper as well as the Tropical Oasis Memories & More card pack (which includes some fun stickers!) The stamp set and dies are carrying over to the new annual catalog that comes out next week, but that beautiful DSP & the Memories & More cards are NOT!

May 2020 Paper Pumpkin: A Kit In Color

Happy Friday!

We made it through another week! What was the highlight of the week for you? It's hard for me to pick just one, but I have to say getting this month's Paper Pumpkin kit was in the top 5 for sure! 

(Our spontaneous backyard water fight was a hard one to beat!)

I absolutely LOVE the beautiful bright colors and the happy rainbow images!

Don't you love the NEW In Colors that will be making a debut on June 3rd? I DO!

I quickly put together one of each card but I didn't stop there! I wanted to use that adorable rainbow stamp set, so I pulled out some notecards and DSP and went to work! 

(Although, work doesn't sound very fun... went to play? OK!)

They were so quick and easy that I even had time to do a Facebook Live! (I know...it's been awhile!) You can watch the replay here or a slightly cleaned up version on YouTube (posted below).
