Happy Belated Valentine's Day!

Y'all!

When I posted yesterday for our Third Thursdays monthly challenge, I was EMBARRASSED to discover that I hadn't really posted since October! WHAT!?!? I'll admit things have been crrrrrazay around here! I attended Stampin' Up!s OnStage in November (I'll post more on that soon), then we spent half of December out of town for Christmas, January went by in a blur as I was finishing things up at work, and then YES I quit my job at the beginning of this month! I thought this would mean I had more time for stamping, but it's amazing how busy life can be even when you feel like you're not doing much of anything!

Aaaanyway... I'm recommitting to share what I've been making with you on a regular basis! Especially my Paper Pumpkin alternate projects AND case inserts (which have been my sanity even through the crazy times!) So check back soon for those as well!

I made this card for my husband for Valentine's Day, and although that day came and went a week ago, I still wanted to share it with you because you could also use this card for weddings or anniversaries. Imagine how pretty it would look in blue or purple!

I stamped the Marbled background stamp (SOOO in love with that one!) in Poppy Parade ink on Petal Pink cardstock using the Stamparatus (LOVE it for those background stamps!) and then layered several die cuts from the Be Mine Stitched Framelit Dies. These dies are a MUST have!!! They're not just for Valentine's Day! The "love" die is from the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits Dies, but my original plan was to use the Well Wishes dies...I just couldn't wait for my order to arrive so I used what I had! Haha!

To add some extra dimension to the sentiment, I cut three layers out of thick Whisper White cardstock and glued them together with the fine tip glue pen. My husband was really intrigued with that part and wondered what it was made out of. Just cardstock! LOL!

The finishing touch was to add several of the Heart Epoxy Droplets. There are actually 4 on this card... the smallest ones on the bottom are kind-of lost in the background but can be seen better in real life.

So what do you think? Do you have any weddings or anniversaries coming up that you would use this card for? What colors would you make it in? I think a more soft and subtle pink or a monochromatic white would also be VERY pretty!
